Product Introduction

    The Zhuozhongzhizhong brand WBF-602 cement-based penetrating crystalline waterproof material is a light gray powder waterproof material made from special cement, fine quartz sand, and various special active chemical substances. This product contains active chemical substances that penetrate into the internal pores and seams of the structure through surface water, generating insoluble needle-like crystals with the hydration products of cement, filling capillaries and micro-cracks, thereby improving the density and waterproofing of concrete.

      This product is an inorganic mixture that does not contain any easily aging organic compounds. Its waterproof coating has excellent adhesion to the concrete substrate, and after construction, it will not produce phenomena such as delamination or peeling with the structural base. This product, through the action of penetration, can combine with concrete to form a whole, achieving long-lasting waterproofing, moisture-proofing, and protection of steel bars, enhancing the strength of concrete structures. The product is non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and easy to construct, making it a new generation of environmentally friendly waterproof materials.

Scope of Application

        This product is widely used in waterproofing and leak-sealing projects for subways, tunnels, bridges, reservoirs, culverts, basements, interior and exterior walls, and building roofs.
Construction Method
1. The substrate must be clean and moist.
2. First, treat the leakage points, seams, and surfaces, and then proceed with large-area waterproof construction.
3. Recommended construction dosage: In the case of normal concrete substrates (without honeycombs or cracks), the dosage for two coats is 0.8-1.0kg/㎡; for one coat on the water-facing side, it is 1.2kg/㎡; for dry sprinkling construction, it is 0.8-1.2kg/㎡;
4. Mixing ratio: Brush material: water = 1:0.33; Coating material: water = 1:0.25 (must be adjusted according to site conditions).
5. Construction requirements: Mix the material with clean water and stir evenly until it reaches a thick consistency. The mixed slurry must be used up quickly. The thickness of the waterproof coating must not be less than 1mm. During coating construction, brush while dipping a brush in water (or spraying a fine mist) on the surface of the coating back and forth. Protection must be done while applying before initial setting dries. Dry sprinkling construction must be sprayed evenly, with special attention to corners.
6. Substrate curing: Water spray maintenance for 3-5 days under direct sunlight; generally, only 1-2 days of water spray is needed.

Precautions
1. Construction must be carried out on a concrete structure or a solid cement mortar substrate, and should not be directly used on the surface of a powdery layer.
2. Leakage points or seams must be sealed properly before construction.
3. For old structures, the original waterproof layer must be removed before applying the waterproof layer. There should be no floating dust, oil stains, or uneven surfaces; any damaged areas must be leveled and repaired to meet waterproof construction requirements.
4. The mixed material must not have lumps or balls.
5. Ensure the coating thickness matches the recommended construction dosage.
6. Special treatment must be done at the pipe joint areas in bathroom construction, such as chiseling a 10mm deep V-shaped groove along the junction of the pipe wall and the substrate for sealing, and then applying the waterproof coating.
7. Store the product in a cool, ventilated, dry place above 5°C, with a shelf life of 12 months.
