immediate consultationDetailed description
Product Introduction
TGP-506 single-component polyurethane waterproof coating is made from isocyanate and polyether polyol as the main raw materials, combined with various additives and fillers through a polymerization reaction. When used, it is applied to the waterproof substrate, and a chemical reaction occurs when the -NCO end groups in the polyurethane prepolymer come into contact with moisture in the air, forming a tough, flexible, seamless rubber waterproof membrane on the surface of the substrate.
Product Features
1. Single-component, ready to use on-site, liquid cold construction, no need to add solvents during construction, flexible and convenient application.
2. High strength, high elongation, high elasticity, fatigue resistance, and excellent acid and alkali resistance.
3. Can form a film on damp substrates, the product uses moisture in the air or substrate as a curing agent to form a super elastic waterproof membrane.
4. Good environmental performance, free of aromatic solvents, no coal tar components, non-polluting to the environment and human body.
5. Excellent weather resistance, able to adapt to climate changes in hot and cold regions.
6. Moisture curing mechanism, stable chemical properties, and other characteristics.
Scope of Application
1. Used for waterproofing, seepage prevention, and moisture-proofing in construction projects such as roofs, basements, bathrooms, kitchens, tunnels, subways, and pipe corridors.
2. Can also be used as one layer in multi-layer waterproofing.
Construction Method
1. The substrate must be clean, solid, and flat, free of oil stains and debris, with rounded corners.
2. Use a rubber squeegee to evenly apply the coating on the substrate, with the direction of the last application perpendicular to the previous one, and the total thickness should meet design requirements.
3. The surface dry time of the coating is about 12 hours at room temperature, and the time interval between each application should be based on when the previous film is not tacky.
4. Reference usage: 2.1kg/㎡ for a film thickness of 1.5mm 2.8kg/㎡ for a film thickness of 2mm.
Main Technical Index: GB/T19250-2013

Precautions
1. During the storage period, a gel film may form on the liquid surface in the barrel, which is normal. It can be used normally after removal.
2. The coating in the opened barrel should be used up as much as possible; otherwise, it should be sealed immediately to prevent curing in the barrel.
3. Ventilation should be ensured during the construction of the waterproof layer.
4. Materials should be sealed and stored upside down in a cool, dry indoor environment, avoiding direct sunlight or rain.
5. The storage period under sealed packaging is six months (if expired, it can still be used normally if tested and found to be uncured).
6. Packaging barrels should not be stacked more than 4 layers.
7. Packaging specification is 20kg/barrel.
