Synopsis: From July 19 to 21, 2024, the preliminary round of the 2024 National Construction Waterproofing Industry Vocational Skills Competition for the South China region, hosted by the China Construction Waterproofing Association and the Shenzhen Waterproofing Industry Association, was successfully held at the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone Construction Vocational Skills Training School. Liu Zuguo and Yan Qin from Zhuozhong Waterproof Group were invited to participate in the waterproofing worker and physical performance inspector competitions, respectively, and both won the second prize.

The National Construction Waterproof Industry (Waterproof Worker) Vocational Skills Competition has been held continuously since 2013 for twelve sessions, making it the highest competition in China's construction waterproof industry, known as the "Olympics" of the waterproof industry. Liu Zuguo, a contestant from Zhuozhongzhong, showcased his talents in this competition, participating with great enthusiasm. Taking that first step marked Liu Zuguo as a standout in this competition. In the intense competition atmosphere, he not only demonstrated his superb skills but also enjoyed the process, further enhancing his professional skills.
In this first preliminary round of the National Construction Waterproof Industry (Physical Performance Inspector) Vocational Skills Competition South China Division, Yan Qin from Zhuozhongzhong traveled a long distance to the competition venue, focusing intently and not missing any details. Racing against time, she invested her fiery passion and state into the competition. She remembered the standards and operated carefully, meticulously checking every detail from verifying environmental temperature, inspecting measurement labels on testing equipment, checking sample quality, to performance testing, showcasing her professional level on the competition stage.

This competition, featuring many skilled participants and strict scoring standards, was divided into theoretical and practical parts. After fierce competition, Liu Zuguo from Zhuozhongzhong stood out among 56 waterproof worker contestants, achieving second place in the modified asphalt project; Yan Qin won the second prize in the waterproof membrane category among 25 physical performance inspector contestants. At the same time, Zhuozhongzhong was awarded the "Excellent Organization Award" by the organizers.
The excellent performance of Zhuozhongzhong's participants in the competition is also a high embodiment of Zhuozhongzhong's craftsmanship spirit of striving for excellence.
