Introduction to the Yichang Olympic Sports Center Project
The Yichang Olympic Sports Center, known as "Yichang Lily," is a key project in Hubei Province, consisting of one stadium and four venues: a Class A stadium with 40,000 seats, a Class A gymnasium with 8,000 seats, a badminton and tennis center with 2,400 seats, a swimming pool with 1,700 seats, and a shooting range with 400 seats, forming "four petals" that can meet the needs of various sports events and large cultural activities. The "four petals" surround the stadium located at the center, blooming with fragrance, surrounded by mountains and waters.
The Yichang Olympic Sports Center covers an area of 1,425 acres, with a total construction area of 206,000 square meters. So far, it has hosted large-scale events such as the 2019 National Shooting Championship (Rifle), the 2019 National Women's Weightlifting Championship, the WDSF International Sports Dance Open, the China-Europe Sports Dance Competition and the China Sports Dance Open (Yichang Station), and the 2020 National Shooting Championship (Rifle event).
