Synopsis: Recently, the national standard GB/T 18244-2022 "Test Methods for Aging of Waterproofing Materials for Buildings" (hereinafter referred to as "Aging Test Methods"), which was revised with the participation of Zhuozhong Zhizhong, was approved and published, and will be implemented on February 1, 2023, fully aligning with international advanced standards.
Recently, the national standard GB/T 18244-2022 "Test Methods for Aging of Waterproof Materials in Construction" (hereinafter referred to as "Aging Test Methods"), which was revised with the participation of Zhuozhongzhizhong, was approved and published, and will be implemented on February 1, 2023, fully aligning with international advanced standards.
"Aging Test Methods"
The "Aging Test Methods" was drafted by the Building Materials Industry Technology Supervision and Research Center and Suzhou Co., Ltd. of China National Building Material Testing and Certification Group. It is applicable to the thermal aging and artificial climate accelerated aging performance determination of building waterproof membranes and waterproof coatings, and is the most basic and universal test method for evaluating the durability and performance of waterproof materials.
The new standard provides a more systematic and comprehensive specification for the testing and experimental content of building waterproof materials, serving as an important technical guarantee for conducting relevant inspections and quality tests. At the same time, it establishes a judgment standard to compare the durability of similar materials using a unified method, which is of great importance for the service life of waterproof membranes and coatings, as well as for engineering construction and waterproof material production enterprises.
Product standards are the basis for measuring product quality, while testing methods are the technology for verifying product quality. Zhuozhongzhizhong, as a participating unit in the revision of this standard, received a letter of thanks from the chief drafting unit: the Building Materials Industry Technology Supervision and Research Center.
