Synopsis: The "General Specification for Waterproofing in Construction and Municipal Engineering" (GB 55030-2022) (hereinafter referred to as the "General Specification") was published on October 24, 2022, on the official website of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. This standard is one of the 38 mandatory engineering construction specifications in the housing and urban-rural development sector organized and drafted by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

In order to better and more accurately understand and grasp the content of the specifications and the background of their formulation, the China Building Waterproof Association specially invited some writing experts from the drafting group to conduct training for the chief engineers, application technology, R&D, and production technical personnel of industry enterprises on November 8 at the Suzhou Buckingham Hotel. Zhuozhongzhizhong, as a high-quality building waterproof system service provider, highly values this meeting and sent Chief Engineer Zhang Yang to participate actively.

This meeting interpreted the "General Specification" from four aspects: the background and process of its formulation, its impact on the industry, interpretation of the articles, and the influence of a series of standards and specifications in the waterproofing field, along with related Q&A, allowing everyone to gain a deeper understanding of this specification.

The implementation of the "General Specification" will promote the improvement of the standard system in the waterproofing industry, enhance the durability, reliability, and environmental friendliness of waterproof materials, drive technological innovation and transformation in the industry, and support the high-quality development of the entire industrial chain. Synopsis: From July 19 to 21, 2024, the preliminary round of the 2024 National Construction Waterproofing Industry Vocational Skills Competition for the South China region, hosted by the China Construction Waterproofing Association and the Shenzhen Waterproofing Industry Association, was successfully held at the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone Construction Vocational Skills Training School.
