The ZZW-304 elastomeric SBS modified asphalt waterproof membrane (hereinafter referred to as "SBS waterproof membrane") is made of SBS polyester felt as the base, with styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) thermoplastic elastomer modified asphalt as the impregnating and coating material. It is processed through various procedures such as material selection, formulation, co-melting, impregnation, composite molding, and rolling, with isolation materials on both sides. This membrane has excellent high-temperature resistance, can be used in a temperature range of -25 to +100°C, has high elasticity and fatigue resistance, an elongation rate of up to 1500%, and strong puncture and tear resistance. It is suitable for waterproofing projects in cold regions and industrial and civil buildings with significant deformation and vibration. It is widely used in waterproofing projects for roofs, basements, bathrooms, as well as rooftop gardens, roads, bridges, tunnels, parking lots, swimming pools, and other projects. For projects with significant deformation, it is recommended to choose polyester base products with excellent elongation performance, while other buildings should opt for relatively economical fiberglass base products.
Construction method for ZZW-304 elastomeric SBS modified asphalt waterproof membrane: Before construction, the base defects should be cleaned, and the moisture content of the base should not exceed 9%. After applying the special primer and allowing it to dry thoroughly, construction can proceed. Specific construction and detailed structures should follow the waterproof design, acceptance standards, and construction specifications of the project.
1. The base must be dry, flat, clean, dust-free, free of debris, free of oil stains, and free of moss. If there are holes, cracks, or fissures, they should be filled with cement mortar, and protruding parts should be leveled.
2. The base treatment agent should be applied against the wind.
3. Apply adhesive on the surface of the base and the surface of the membrane, leaving overlap edges for seam adhesive.
4. Lay the membrane and perform venting and compaction.
5. Proceed with the adhesion of the overlap seams.
